Still in the breeders place. Can't wait until June when we collect it. The missus will then get up early and will have the bed to myself for a change No GMTV rubbish to put up with either. Just the papers and laptop and await my breakfast in bed. Life used to be like that when we had cats previously.

I'm allergic to cats... it's not cat-hair as most people think, it's actually cat saliva. Because they're always licking themselves, when the hair moults small particles of dried cat saliva flake off and get into the air... they then lodge in your lungs and cause irritation.
Bet you didn't know that! :-)

We have 5 cats and 4 of them are asleep in my daughters bedroom and the fifth one is in the lounge (asleep).
The dogs are also asleep, the horses are asleep, even the tortoises appear to be asleep.
And, the grandparents are having their afternoon nap.
Seems it is only me actually doing any work!

Ours dragged a Magpie (still alive) through two cat flaps and deposited the thing in the lounge. Spent an hour this morning trying to get the thing out...........cat just sat there watching. Little b*stard.

Not sure where the kids are though, too quiet by half (maybe they are asleep as well).

Dog** does that,...............What kind of symptoms would a person have who is infected by dog worms? 1) A condition called Visceral Larval Migrans. The ascarid eggs hatch in a person's small intestine. The little worms or larvae get into the blood stream and float to the liver. They migrate in the liver and get to the blood stream that goes to the lungs. Some may enter the general circulation and end up in different parts of the body. They have been found in the human heart, brain, spinal cord, skin, and other tissues. The symptoms would vary depending on where the larvae become attached.
2) Another condition is called Ocular Larval Migrans. The immature ascarid worms or larvae can affect the human eye. The larvae attack the retina and cause blindness. Many eyes of children have had to be removed which until recently was the only treatment for this problem.
About twenty years ago,a programme called "The case against Dogs" showed that dog poo deposited 100 years ago would release these eggs, they would remain dormant, and every time it rained, they would come to the surface and children playing in public parks would be in danger of injesting them if touching the contaminated soil and putting their hands to their mouths.
Cat poo carries different, but equally disturbing dangers, especially to pregnant women.
