How come quality horses on a flat track , miss out fence after fence . It looked like all 5 were struggling at various points , it's an odd track this Mildmay one for sure.

With the possible exception of Calgary Bay, every horse ran at least a stone below its best imo.
a good watch . not the classiest of races but the winner could be a gold cup horse
Not a good race IMO.....I thought Imperial Commander was great value at 11/8 against this opposition....Something not right.
was the horse 100%.there were some bad vibes knocking about midweek.u could tell by the first fence he wernt right.

The signs were there, not at Cheltenham, ran 20 days ago etc.

look at his form . useless away from cheltenham and running quick after a break
