def high is a big disadvantage, jockey will need to ride an excellent race which rules out many(!), they either go too hard too early to get a pitch, or get too far back or start making ground around the bends which is always fatal.

saddo, I've only posted from my experiences, if a horse has a few pounds in hand it obviously helps and Ermine could be well in on yesterday's run but he had a hard enough race for me(plus the poor draw to overcome tonight) so I'll swerve him tonight, personally gone for the well drawn/unexposed Quiet Mountain now he steps up in trip.
