yes. Was doing ok. But had my biggest bet for a while,on a place bet.........it ran out

Certainly these in running prices are not a good indicator of the result. There was a time that anything that went odd on usually won. I think there are probably lots of software programs (called bots) pushing in the odds and betting so many times a second, creaming off the funds and making money whatever the price.

keep backed them and then lay them when they get to 1.03, 1.02, 1,01 etc , then everything will be fine , who cares if they win or not

keep backed them and then lay them when they get to 1.03, 1.02, 1,01 etc , then everything will be fine , who cares if they win or not its just bad luck, i have had two 1.01's in running beaten in the same week, it doesn't mean you shoul lay them all off. the in running markets liquidity often means you won't get matched even ifit hits 1.10 to 1.03. in the long run these things will even out or we would all just lay 1.01 - 1.03 shots for a living. ie the in running market was somehow not as efficient as the pre race markets. things will turn around if you are getting decent prices in the 1st place gl |

Also seems to me that there are more than a normal amount of winners as in the last at taunton that are just unbackable !
