He looked gutted and also mentioned that the connections would feel just as badly (if not worse!). seemed like a good enough bloke to me and theres not a jockey in the world who could have done anything differently there.

Nick rides regularly for us and is the nicest young man it's possible to meet. I also think he's exceptionally talented, a view shared by Paul Nicholls. Something is making the leading horse spook at the last hurdle at Taunton, because it's just happened again.
