As most of you on here today will be taking some time off work to watch Aintree, it is only fair that us gnarled veterans mark your card to enable you to make your decision to use up valuable holiday worthwhile.

Hours of study and video reviewing have unveiled a BACK TO LAY that would not occur to most punters. The horse in question is BARIZAN. Most ordinary form students will have missed this one going off in front last time, but my intricate notes have revealed this horse set a strong gallop, went clear and traded significantly shorter than its SP.

Have analysed the race, I think there is a 81.3% chance of jockey Anthony McCoy trying to repeat the same tactics and, as such, this horse should shorten in price and give us what we call in the trade a 'Kermit' book. This is your chance to think like a PROPUNTER, and get involved in this clever bet that will virtually no-one else will have spotted.

PROPUNTER RECOMMENDATION: BARIZAN: Back at 7.2 to lay.

You have failed to adjust your logarithms correctly between Cheltenham and Aintree, cgull. An amateurish error.

I have already received five text from angry PROPUNTERS, complaining that I am giving away the secrets of the game. My answer to them is WORK HARDER - then you will find more hidden gems like this in the day's other races.

I, for example, have already found another possible BACK TO LAY in the Aintree Foxhunters today that no-one else will have considered. However, I am keeping this to myself.

It depends how close it goes to winning, Steaky m7. The key here is to be flexible, and not to limit yourself to firm pre-race opinions. Leading PROPUNTER Peter Naughton once told me: "Never get married to an idea." That sort of advice is like gold-dust.

He actually said "never get carried away in Ikea." Sage advice from the thrifty Northerner.

Sounds like a sensible approach, but I think I will lay just before the gap between first and second starts to narrow, to be on the safe side.

WTF do you know about logarithms imo?

Logarithms are the cornerstone of any successful punting strategy, drewboy. Logarithms, a well-kept notebook, a sharpened pencil and a subscription to The Ethical Edge. That's a solid grounding for anyone looking to join the ranks of PROPUNTER.

Some stupid idiots are trying to lay, yes LAY!, Barizan as we speak!

They'll have to have 5 times as much on at 2.2 (when he turns into the straight 15l clear) in order to get out of trouble.

I backed at 7.2 and layed off at 7 for some free dosh,

should I off waited for in running imo ?!
By:

When: 08 Apr 10 12:33
You should have waited, infomaniac. I am looking to lay the bet back at the lowest price he hits, as soon as he looks beaten. I would recommend this strategy to others.

I am going to use that stratedgey with Big Bucks, he is going to be cruising looking like he is going to win and then bam, I am going to lay it at the lowest price it hits thereby losing as little as possible.

I haven't wasted hours and hours of research, video watching, note-taking and Naughton-consulting to see the horse not shorten in price, u want some. The horse will probably lead, surprising the majority of punters, and therefore his price will go into freefall. It's hard to see what can go wrong.

Given the misleading nature of the initial post, I refer the author to a runner in the 530 race which sums him up precisely :^0

The PROPUNTERS code of SILENCE has been seriously compromised here.

However, we may be able to overlook this aberration if PLAN B could be revealed in the unfortunate circumstance of Anthony deciding not to make the running.
By:

I do have a PLAN B, Avon Barksdale. Should the horse refused to race, fall or drop himself out, I will act quickly to lay most of bet off at a price slightly above my initial back, thus incurring a small loss.

Peter Naughton once said to me: "Never be afraid to take a small hit when a big loss is on the horizon." Once again, he hit the nail on the head and his words travel with me every day.

My current position is this, The Romford Slim:

Current Odds bets Order by Matched Date

Back YourOddsYourStakeYourProfit
Barizan 7.4 £2,000.00 £12,800.00
£2,000.00

I will no doubt be adding to this nearer the time, especially if McCoy is circling in the lead at the start. That's another PROPUNTERS trick that no-one else knows about.
