If Kauto had won the gold cup like IC did, and turned up here, what price would he be? 2/5 ?? 1/3 ??
Certainly not odds against.

Cheltenham run as daft as it sounds is the reason.

Laid it early this morning at evs. Suprised if it wins after such a hard race 3 weeks ago.

Really confused now backed him at Cheltenham, and after I heard he was going to Aintree I thought he'd be a decent lay as of his record when not running fresh and the Cheltenham factor.

Though wouldn't even consider laying him at that price.

I have backed too many good things in this race and done my dough in the past. No thanks.

Backing him at 2.54. Track might not suit but he did sh Kauto at Kempton. What a Friend is the only danger, Nacarat makes too many mistakes and Calgary not good enough. Carruthers should set this up for IC.

I backed it at Chelts but given Nigel's bulshyness after the race he deserved that really. Claimed he was a good thing after the race last time but implied it before the race today and proved well wide of the mark. Do trainers know anything about their own horses?
