You have to nearly kill someone to get disqualified from a British race.
are the stewards watching or are they still at lunch ?
I think the original poster is right, gets chucked out imo
If they don't reverse that - we might as well all give up.
Has to go, otherwise what's the point of having stewards, has to get chucked.
no point having rules of racing if that keeps it, 2yr old or not.
I backed the winner and laid off now, as who knows what our stewards may do. Hope it keeps the race, obviously, but have ensured a profit regardless.

Well this thread is about 85% reversal, which is nowhere near the current odds
BACKED ONE YESTERDAY done te same thing and was demoted from 3rd to 4th, imo it will go, but the strewrds here different ot irish ones imo

If this result stands we may aswell say ALL results are settled on a first past the post basis and all stewards can be pensioned off immediately, they no longer have a job.
nearly all results are judged first past the post anyway
Cost the 2nd horse any chance it had, jockey should have switched anyway.
No point having Stewards if they don't chuck this imo.
I'm on the first past the post for LARGE. This will keep the race. An unraced 2 yr old with jockey having the whip in correct hand. What else could he do.

Unraced or not the interference has affected the result ... I think and it will keep it and if you are waiting upon it for a big result I hope for you it does but I really think the rules need a big shake up in this country once and for all.

These enquiries are going too far these days in refusing to reverse results. That winner cost the second more than half a length in distance.

Not at all. All winners enclosure photos have to be done before 'horses away'. That would be well before the outcome of the stewards enquiry, and they can't go back later and do it.

I don't mean absolute proof, but there was not point it looked very likely the 2nd was going to win. It lost its opportunity of winning but that is something else. It was being ridden when the interference started while almost a length behind.

My post was tongue in cheek. I was personally delighted the horse kept the race as I had backed the Channon mince and saved my steak on the winner in the stewards.

But tell everyone that whenever they drive and look in their rear view mirror they can always see absolute carnage behind them and can't understand why as they weave from lane to lane

uk racing is a bit of a joke , why have stewards enquiries and object , its awaste of money
The 2nd was stopped twice and intimidated and continually carried right for at least a 100 yards

I've had two races where jockeys deliberately stopped my selection from winning through reckless or just down right blocking horse in on rails......and the race today was nothing even close to that.....
Still cost me money as though had both horses to win......i just cannot trust stewards to make the "correct" decisionaftter the previous two bad decisions.....so Muqbil you got some of me moneyyyyy...wd
