how long will in-running betting go on for? when will the gambling commission step in and stop it or will it be all swept under the carpet so bf get their premuim charge, the race tracks can sell their otherwise redundant corporate boxes. Betting in-running would be fine in my opinion if everybody was on a level playing field but when people have a 4 second advantage and are laying horses that have already fell past the post in 2nd place then something must be done. The track players are surely only thieves and unable to make it pay on a level playing field. The Sis/Atr tracks are now full of track players looking to make their money inside the final 1 to 1 and a half furlolngs. My advice would be to move the mouse away after the 2 pole let liquidity dry up and let the sharks eat each other. Alternatively lets boycott the Sis/Atr tracks completely and see wot is left for them. It wouldnt be long before they were heading for the hills

My view on it is simple, don't play if you're not on a level playing field, everybody knows it, so why not stop moaning!!
The track players have some get up and go about them, entrepreneurs almost, who have found a niche and an advantage, good luck to them I say, they put the miles on the clock and pay their fees which keep our racecourses going.
If you can't beat them, don't play them, or get up off your lazy backsides, pay the racecourses their dues and beat them there.

no but the problem is getting worse and i feel the time has come to do something about it. I dont think it will be long before someone challenges it in court since the rules have changed about remounting. If u placed a bet in a tennis match football match etc. after the result im sure you would be entitled to your money back and rightly so. If someone proves the time of bet and the time the horse fell it will all come crumbling down. For a bet to be a fair transaction both parties must be able to win Fact.

i dont believe that everybody knows how far they r actually behind otherwise they would not be betting inside the final furlong. As stated previously its only a matter of time before its challenged in court.

Well said 21up but no one cares. Fast internet at the track is a world away from some muppett phoning his mate at home.
The media are exploiting the fast pictures as much as anyone - so don't expect anyone to launch any campaigns to protect those being exploited, imo...

In general I dont play last furlong 21up... but you will never stop others from doing it if they see the prices there they cant resist clicking. They see something getting tired and lay the 1.1 or whatever but its already crossed the line.
21up what is your view on the guy or guys who layed the 1000-1 winner yesterday,that is the faller who never fell,are they the people you are talking about?.
whats happening these r not the people im talking about they have just made a dreadful error. The people im talking about r people who lay horses after they have fell. Imagine how u feel to back a horse going well and expect to get 3/1 or so only to get matched at a 1000/1 coz the horse has already fallen. Ur bet never had a chance of winning and its illegal and thats a fact it only needs challenging once with hard evidence by some fat cat and the lid will be blown off.
What about if you expect to get 3/1 and the horse makes a shocking mistake,you get much bigger odds, yet the horse goes on to win? Has happened countless times.
21up some lucky bugger probably asked for about 5s on Golden Silver and came back with 1000s, all because of one guys mistake.

totally different tally it still has a chance if its in the race not if its fallen! im not saying fast pic should not get an edge hence why im saying stop playing from 2 out on the flat as this is the point at which most track players start to play. Y keep giving them money is all im saying to any in running players who dont go to the track. Eventually liquidity would dry up for track players leaving us to all play on a level playing field. Why is their a lack of track players at Turf Tv meetings coz the edge isnt significant and isnt worth their expenses. It would be much better for all concerned in the long run if it stopped or all pics were brought up to speed. Im sure it would be in betfairs interest too as im sure it would lead to bigger amounts of in running.
Eveyone knows the score, if you're prepared to spend the time and money either going on-course, getting SIS Home or going to an Exchange Shop then fair play to you. I rarely play ir/ but often put up a short priced i/r lay up on one I've backed pre-race. I'm quite prepared for this to be matched by someone with a quicker feed etc.

yesterday that boring irish commentator called the wrong faller , so somebody puts up a lay of 1000 hoping some mug will make a mistake and back it . So when it goes t!ts up they blame the commentator , but wasnt they trying to ** in the first place . ha ha

slower pictures can be an advantage - you just got to play it a bit different - wont be long now and them quicker picture boys will be screaming for mercy !
