I thought 3-1 about Ventura Cove looked 'value' now that it's down in grade and despite track and going uncertainties.

i know you can nver write off fahy and I notice the drop down in grade, but johannesgray is not really bred to be a 2yr old and was always going to be better this year.

I like johnannesgray a lot and i know Dandy and the owner brian Morton do also.
Ran a good race first time out like you say. wasnt that quick away from a wide draw agree about the ground. Would rather take Even money without the bloody johnston horse in the field tho. Venture Cove didnt seem to progress much as 2yo and altho his horses are running well i think Dandy's has a lot more improvement in him. Nicely drawn today on this turning track will be tough for johnston horse from a wide draw first time out |

it is an interesting one but I really feel this one is going to win by 5 or 6 lengths today. I'm rather bullish about it.
