No rain to speak of yesterday or today, sunny spells with a fair wind will get rid of all the soft by Friday. The Mudlarks will have no chance on Saturday, the pace of the race will be too quick.

would think there would be a few fatalities if ground does firm up..always better to fall on to a soft surface
