Hotel Noir - Not bad value, good brekkie - 15 min walk from station

Also try Churchills on Bootham, know a couple of the staff and they are decent

That's a fabulous little hotel, feed-the-goat, agree with that one. Also a few yards away on the opposite side, The Minster is a nice, reasonably priced hotel.

Churchills is great but reasonably priced it is not

Cant see me affording that one, 1andonly !

What is it per night now, the worm?

Was around £100 per night last time we stayed there a few years back around xmas time.
