The chap who was complaining about Hugh's ATR timestamp and when the page was updated ... make sure you know the difference between refresh, F5 and control-F5.
BF police pulled the thread (presumably to avoid a libel suit) and also another thread about threads being pulled.
I heard that the NHS has asked hugh not to put up on his site
"leap of a cliff"
because of the likely injury to several hundred arbers and the mental strain on bookmakers looking to cut a price of a non existant horse.

Does anyone on here ever get his prices ? I sometimes get near i.e. 14/1 when he says 16/1, but usually can't get close on the big outsiders.Today's 28/1 -25/1 had been cut to 16 almost immediately.

the site is a complete waste of time from a punting angle it is nothing more than a figure head for ATR.
I conceed though that Hugh is a top tipster , but in the long run you will find it very difficult to make money following his tips in their current delivery format.

Brought a tear to my eye when the former atr tipster "the pharoah of the form book" when asked on ruk if away from his bookie pr role he had an opinion on a race said " i couldve been a contender ,but now i'm just a bum"

I have had 2 pcs running with auto refresh on both and still the prices are difficult to get whether you get them on time or 5 mins late and to make matters worse you have to sit there watching your monitors from between 930 and 1155 to make sure you get all the selections.
It gets even worse as you will have your accounts closed or restricted in a short period of time.
So someone tel mel what ATRs customers get out of this.

If you take the view horse racing is part of the leisure industry. Backing HUgh's tips are a bit like someone going to bingo. ATR customers divide into 2 distinct groups. Some may delude themselves they are winning. Others know different, but still enjoy being part of the gamble and sometimes getting a little back.

It is even funnier when one considers the fact that luslen repeatedly denies folloing Hugh's tips!

I would have thought the string of bookmakers advertising their prices for 'Sir Hugh's' selections about three inches from where they are revealed is enough of a clue as to what ATR and the bookmaking industry's real agenda is with this column.
That's not to say that Taylor isn't a fantastic judge, obviously...

Artie, I'm sure he's just doing his best to find value bets - and he's clearly exceptionally good at it.
It would take a big leap of faith however, to think that a channel that relies on the bookmaking industry for an enormous amount of its funding, is going to happily allow its customers to be picked off by punters following a tipster on its own website, in my humble opinion...
