1.45 Whilst the winner, ADMISSION, who won under minimum effort and the 2nd CLOCKMAKER, will both be in the winners enclosure in future weeks, from a punting prospective they may not represent value. The one to note to that end is the tenderly ridden, never competitive 5th, KHAJAALY.

2.15 The winner, Dajen can still probably win again under a penalty or small handicap rise. The one to take from the race with an eye to a future bet is the only one to bustle up the winner in BRUSHING, who won a poor maiden at 50s on the course last year but was disappointing in her only other 2 starts. So off the back of a 200 day break and only her 4th lifetime run, a respectable reappearance to improve off the back of.

2.50 WOTSIT would be worth an interest when dropped to 6f.

3.25 -

4.00 The wholly inconsistent favourite BOOKIESINDEX BOY ran one of his typical races but he isnt the type to take 3/1 over but would have been worth a interest back at Southwell today at a price to bounce back following his oh so easy win there last month. (now NR)

4.35 ZENARINDA the punt of the race on course 12s into 8s will be well fancied next time out off 442 form figures BUT the winner, a 4yo maiden had to give her 24lbs here and after her, the next 5 were all bunched up with 2 lengths covering the lot, maybe the chance of a lay at a shortish price NTO.

5.10 I have followed OPERA PRINCE since he was 4th at Epsom in a 12k handicap in 2008 for S. Kirk. Winning a couple soon after he then became disappointing however Julian Wilson must have seen something and now owns and has moved to Lady Herries. Two runs for him including this one, and not much promise from either, but there must be a plan, shirley.

5.45 Willie Musson wins the race with the well backed (6s to 4s) favourite, Khun John whilst his stable mate SPARKAWAY drifts from 10s to 12s on the off and finishes last. Two points to note! Jamie Mackay had time to, and made more effort in having a long conversation IR with Jimmy Quinn up the straight and 2, unlike John McCririck I think a horse in a competitive race DOES need to see the whip, Sparkaway did not here after being last away from the stalls. Interesting.

Also noteworthy that Resplendent Ace a drifter form 7s to 10s led 10 furlongs out. The majority of its form comments will show the first line
