Used the whip a few times to make it look 'reasonable', but I feel sorry for the backers who dived in at short prices.
If you had a top job with Cecil why get involved at that end of the game.

You Kevin, by default, are associated with bookmakers. He manipulates the manipulators. You are an associate of the manipulators. You, and thousands of others, including myself, have given money to feed the bookmakers greed. Once they become accustomed to a certain lifestyle that we provide, they get greedy and want more and more, by any means nessasary to the detrimental effect of horse racing. Barney curley sees the bookies for what they are, and has decided the only way to beat the corrupt is to strategize.

No it isn't a euphemism. He puts money into horse racing, and bookies do nothing but take money out. I don't have a problem with him trying to get a horse well in. Bookies have inside information a plenty, and tell the punter nothing, yet we still use them. If people are going to sit here and talk about corruption, then why do they give money to the biggest corruption machines ?
