I was at Plumpton and thought that I had done well getting him at 5's. Going well when he came down. They did the quickest job ever in getting him into the knackers van and away. I think that few in the crowd knew what happened after his fall. In his commentary Richard Hoiles said that he was badly injured but no announcement was made after the race so far as I'm aware.
A horses death always completely spoils my day out.Quite a few last year unfortunatly happened right in front of the stands with kids gawping at the scene. |
