This i promise you is a true story.
I had a dream ..... must be over 15 years ago now .. the night before the Scottish National that the fav RUN FOR FREE won the race. Nothing weird there, other than the fact i was dreaming about horseracing. I was addicted at the time. It was HOW it won that was really bizarre. I dreamt it won, but for some reason had to run from way off the pace. I rememeber telling my mate this in the bookies - i could only rememeber it won and that it had been almost tailed off. The race - RUN FOR FREE planted at the start and was a full furlong behind at least as i rememeber. Jockey hunted him round, produced him at the last and got up on the run in!! I had a tenner on at 4/1......!! Talk about a missed opportunity! |
