im new to betfair and am looking at laying horses if i lay a horse at say 4.2 to £20 and it won won i lose £84 or £84 plus my £20 stake also if it lost wqould my return be £20 plus £20 stake cheers

If u lay one at 4.2 for £20 you would lose £64. Am I netted ?

you would make £20 profit if it lost less 5% commission. ie £19.00. Daylight robbery really.

if you set up you can see the effect of your bets. red = loser, green = winner.

lay at 4.2 thats in reality just over 3/1, so you lay for 20 quid horse wins youn lose 64quid if horse loses you win 20 quid

if u go to a market and click on "more options" you can tick WHAT IF and it lets you know what u win or lose if u place the bet.

if you dont knowi would draw stumps before you start as it could end up costing you a lot to find out
