I want to see Fact To File here. I think this race is just what he needs given the Gold Cup distance could be 2f too far. I hope JP shares my view too. He's 5/4 for the John Durkan on 23rd Nov. However, no mention of this race from Mr Mullins; Mullins has indicated Gaelic Warrior is this race bound.

I see he is entered at Naas on Sunday, Foyles.

thanks brandy

By:
champ keily goes in the barberstown today over 2m ,trip too short so hoping for a nice run out to blow the cobwebs away .
By:
Should be happy enough with that, Foyles.
By:
yes brandy btn sh giving an arkle 2nd 11 pound over 2m , hopefully the king George is the target .
By:
as said this will cut up and I don't mind a few cracks at decent prices and Henry de broms heartwood also looks a big price assuming he gets there ,decent form and looks to be progressing won on seasonal debut and Henry has said we will work backwards from the king George heart wood rated 160 obviously has a bit to find but trip no problem and this looks the target. not everyone's cup of tea ante post but the it does give you plenty of time to get enough on I've been drip feeding fivers and tenners ew here and there and will continue to at the prices.33s billies ew looks fair imo

Just over 5 weeks to go yet the quality and definitive runners are thin on the ground unlike in the past eg Vautour, Cue Card, Don Cossack, Silviniaco Conti, etc. The quality is questionable too.
By:
A neck separated the winner Gaelic Warrior and runner-up Fact To File in the John Durkan at Punchestown earlier today; the winner was given a soft lead at the start. I'd expect both horses to be this way bound for Round 2, all things being equal.
By:
JP has only one here ie Fact To File, one of 3 from Mr Mullins along with Gaelic Warrior and Grangeclare West. Round 2 in prospect then.
By:
I do not think so. Only one will go to Kempton.
By:
No one like last weeks two easy winners? The Jukebox Man is a beautiful looking horse.
By:
Where have you been 'Delashay'? Holidays in somewhere sunny and swanky? Well come back!
I hope Fact To File is a starter here. It's a travesty if he does not on account of his stable companion Gaelic Warrior. I hope JP its owner insists the horse runs again, if he's sound and fit. |
By:
Thanks impossible and hope that you get a run for your money. I recall you were keen on him to go.
I don’t’tend to play the jumpers, it’s become a bit boring too with the domination of Mullins. To think that he’d not won the Gold Cup until a few years back! |
By:
You're right...it's getting progressively boring each year. The domination of Mr Mullins and his powerful owners another nemesis for backers of ante. I think I'll be leaving this sport post 2026. I've just retired, with better things to do than doing battle with bookies and the likes of Mr Mullins and his powerful owners. The ante market is too slanted against reward.
If not here the obvious alternative for Fact To File is the Savills Chase on 28th Dec which could be trickier given Leopardstown is a stiffer 3 miler, and competitive too eg Galopin, Ino.., Fastorslow, etc. |

Best of Impossible

I think (I hope) JP and his advisors will want Fact To File here otherwise another battle with Inothewayurthinkin at Leopardstown.

done me dough on champ kiely nonner but that's how it goes , the king George has had a fair few shocks hewick ,frodon ,banbridge ,tornado flyer a handful of biggish priced winners the past 5 -6 years . Gaelic warrior the fav and should be hard to beat but looked like Willie had him spot on in the durkan and had a bit of a grueller may still win but short enough imo. I had a speculative punt at odds of 590-450 average on here on croke park only got around a tenner on but at those odds you don't need much on tbf. prob done my dough and may not even line up here and needs to find plenty but has a few bits of form won 2 grade 1s last season including a drinmore and just the 12 runs under rules seems suited right handed trip no problem has and available at 100/1 books obviously has a good bit to find but this will cut up and is hopefully the target tho has a savills entry .
By:
Fact To File as big as 12/1 for this now.
By:
Fair chance this could be the very last one run at Kempton, those immigrants have got to live somewhere.
By:
noticed b365 had no cash out for croke park king George and managed to lay a fiver off at 320 yesterday so it looks like the savills for that one .
By:
FTF shortening for this
maybe came out JD better than GW |
By:
Fact To File is a live one. A one time shortie drifted to double digits, just yesterday. Now into 4 here. The shenanigans in the stable are constantly misleading supporters of the horses but IHRB never seems to be bothered, as always.
By:
It's been confirmed by the manager of JP Fact To File the horse is this way bound provided he stays sound and the trainer is happy with him between now and race day. This is a prudent decision given the Savills Chase has Inthewayurthinkin - the Gold Cup winner and JP owned.
Just the shenanigans prior to confirmation that was distasteful to antepost players. |

gaelic
fact to file jango jukebox banbridge il est franc djelo croke park master chewy |
By:
The owner of Jango Baie is Mr Tony Barney who is also the owner of Countrywide Park Homes specialising in selling and managing residential park homes for retirement and luxury holiday lodges. Countrywide Park Homes has a hated and "bad" reputation on Trustpilot.
The then Conservative MP and Agriculture Minister during the Mad Cow disease epidermic Mr John Gummer who famously offered a beef burger to his young daughter infront of press cameras criticised Countrywide Park Homes in a 2009 Parliamentary debate. There are still a few bad ones on Trustpilot as recent as 2025 and 2024. |
By:
I wonder if Tony or John have considered how the race will be run?
By:
Is Jango Baie good enough to usurp the two principals of Mr Mullins's? The horse's been backed into 4 here.
By:
back all 3
By:
Nope. Fact To File is taking a big walk. Manipulation or a late drama at Closutton stable?
By:
F2F 16-3 for the Savills this am,,, Willie bingo
By:
FTF is 10/1 with 'Denise'. I think it's very unlikely JP will have him running against his reigning Gold Cup winner.
I've 'lay' the alleged dodgy caravan dealer. |
By:
Nothing on turftrax but i imagine they will be watering this week or it will be a very quick renewal.

No one like last weeks two easy winners? The Jukebox Man is a beautiful looking horse. Boooooooom ![]() |

Beautiful looking horse= I think it will win ????????
Unbelievable |
By:
It was an unbelievable finish and a shame that you or no one else convinced me otherwise back on the 28th November.
You were all asked for an opinion, the horse was dismissed. |
By:
Banbridge should have won comfortably but like McCoy before him Bowen might be great on a slogger in the mud on a wet Wednesday at Fontwell but on a class animal that just needs finessing and putting in front at the opportune moment he is too eager.
