Feel for owners and trainer but the season is becoming a nightmare.

Don't degrade Rosallion by taking him down to 7f, Saturday week.

He is a top grade miler still.

Why have connections waited so long to update punters?

Will the horse get his just deserts tomorrow through no fault of his own? I hope so after so many near-misses.

Not many are top class at three and four and he’s been overtaken by more late maturing types like Never So Brave. The ground will probably have gone against him by Champions Day so only the Breeders’ Cup Mile left and that would be a big gamble for all it does look a winnable race.

He ought to have won at least one eg Sussex Stakes if his jockey and a few others were not being injudicious, and too preoccupied with watching one another except the two "pacesetters" given an easy lead. It's all academic now. It's only a game to most.

I'd not go to America after a hard season.

He's in the du Moulin, but the ground is presently very soft which is not good for him. It looks like Rosallion could be thwarted once again, this time by the weather.

I've opposed him with The Lion In Winter. His last race was a fact-finding mission (like Jan Brueghel)  leading from the front. Both will need to win to reaffirm their talent of the last season. Both have been very poor courtesy of their respective trainers.
