Does look a right cracker,  throw out his last run where Lead was led legged and he’s the wrong price with the Dancer on their Goodwood run.
His run in Bahrain albeit over further was boosted by Calif in Honk Pong next time out. Was a duff guineas so wonder how the others would do at that level internationally, the Breeders Cup Mile was won by one of e less fancied runners.

Good luck with your bet, fascinating to watch, jockeys got to be on form too and look forwards to seeing how they all progress this season, it’s good to have a bunch still in training.

The more you look the more fascinating it gets, as you’ve horses with pure speed such as your selection Notable Speech who I felt was outstayed in the Breeders Cup Mile and horses who stay beyond the mile or stay it really well. The question is whether these will be tapped for toe as Chryn was last year by Audience who’d I’d backed as being the joker stepping up in trip. After the Lockinge I felt that it’s all that Chryn did - see out the mile stronger than anyone else in a fairly weak division.

Our Guineas was better than the French version and Dancing was unlucky with the deluge just before that suited Metropoltain. Teal will be hoping for none of this over watering to have gone on, his charge appears improved this year but we don’t know about the 1-2 from our 2000? Both are lovely colts and it might be that Hannon’s comes on more for the run - with the Queen Anne the aim.

David Menuisier Is having bubble here :

“ It's been a debate in the syndicate as to what her best trip is, because she runs well at every one," said the trainer. "If you run against the best milers, you know whether you have the best miler or not. If you don't, you may try something different next time.
"It makes more sense than going to France over the distance of nine furlongs. That doesn't give you any clue over what's your best trip.”

This will not prove who is the best miler. He rolling the dice with race fitness and the weight pull with Dancing. You can’t say that winners of the d'Ispahan aren’t true milers as Goldikova won it and was nothing but a miler. So he’s come here to try to catch the others cold.
True others have used that French race as an alternative prep for the Prince of Wales’.

Will the stronger stayers be outsped or outstay the speedsters?

We have lots to look forwards to with the clash of the generations and the breeders cup mile at the end of the year will be one that surely Godolphin have their eye on again. Not sure where it’ll be held this year?

Good luck all.

Dancing Gemini could be disadvantaged by racing away from Rosallion and Notable Speech or alternatively he could be the only one drawn on the "right" side. In two of the straight course races yesterday the first two home were drawn 1 and 3 and then 1 and 2. Not conclusive but??

It’s nice when it comes together which admittedly isn’t often! Laugh (I like a price and am not a fav backer.) Great bit of training again and thanks John for letting us know where the next Breeders Cup held ;)

I think that both Notable Speech and Rosie will come on plenty for the run, both looked as big as barges and Hills shame you going 9/2 the 4 for the Queen Anne!
Make a decision and give the people a price! This is happening far too often on Saturday race days when bunches of horses are all on the same odds, gone are the days of getting 20/1 , 25/1 , 33/1 , 40/1 , 50 , 66/1
You’ll often see around for at 10/1 when they should be 12/1 and bigger.

Today was the Dancers acid test and he should be bigger than both the Godolphin colt and Hannon’s one. Levy looked after Rosey and Buick was happy with Notable Speech so it’s a toss up who you think will get the stiff Mile the better at Ascot.

With an extra year on his back Notable Speech will see out the Breeders Cup mile at Del Mar and have course experience. The St James’ will tell us if he’s facing a top notched in Henri Matisse who like Modern Games will be trying to the the Juvenile / BC Mile double.

I see a lot of similarities between Modern Games and Notable Speech - both have speed to burn. Don’t rule out Shadow Of Light either.

I’m hoping that Cosmic Year can join the party also as we’ve had a barren few years of having a few top notch milers to take each other on. Be interesting to see if he is sent to Ascot and not Ireland nest weekend to go around the bend there.

Oh by the way Ryan didn’t go too early, listen to Murphy he said he could of gone on and been more aggressive. But still that length he had mattered (making it up takes its toll in the end) . Great ride chap )

Hills obviously didn’t like the criticism and have adjusted their market accordingly, at least you’ve got your odds compilers do some wok! Laugh

That’s what a bookmaker should do - take a stand so fair play.

Hills current fav for the Queen Anne is :

7/2 Rosallion
5/1 Dancing Gemini
8/1 Notable Speech
33/1 Lead Artist

Found these quotes re: Dancing Gemini and the ground.

After his win at Sandown

Teal said: “I always knew he could perform like that and that is why we were pitching him in all the Group races last year.

“Unfortunately last year with the wet ground, we never got the chance to show our best. Everyone keeps labelling him a soft-ground horse, but he is not a soft-ground horse and I’ve always said that.”

“If it gets wet, we’d probably sit tight and wait for France, it’ll just depend on the forecast.

“We won’t make the same mistakes as last year, when we kept pitching him in on soft ground – he does act on the softer side, but I think he is a better horse with a bit of life in the ground.“

He seems as ground dependant as Lead Artist so the odds on offer for either make no appeal until we know the weather and watering!

But he is seemingly becoming a Goldie Locks, not too fast, not too soft!!! A bit like Field of Gold!

And the forgotten horse for the Queen Anne @ double carpet 33/1 yes the other Hannon stablemate who ran Rosellion close in the Irish 2000 Guineas.
Also has Ascot Straight track form albeit over shorter.

“I didn’t want to see Haatem declared (finished fifth) and I think he’s a serious horse and I think will come on for that, but our lad has got it done.”

Wouldn’t it be funny if two long shot winners came out of that Sandown race!

33’s is widely on offer vs 4/1 which is short accounting for jockey error, draw, ground etc…
