Wimbledon Hawkeye undoubtedly has the best form in the race. However, for me that form is closer to Gp3 level than Gp1. The Timeform comment says he looks capable of even better. I would like to see those kind of comments backed up by some kind of reasoning, but they rarely are. Maybe he is capable of more, but, in my opinion, he's run to a very similar level in both of his last two races, and I see no obvious reason why he's more likely to improve next time than any of the other runners. Just a watching race for me.

royal playwright appeals to me at the price has a bit to find with the fav but wimb hawk had a bit more exp behind him that day ,the gap in price looks a bit big and no suprise if they finish much closer this time took the 14s last night ew not a lot to find on ratings and decent form in the book and progressing , the same can be said for most /all the field but at the prices he ticks a few boxes . also had a saver on annio domini 2 from 2 unbeaten and the yard has lots of decent juveniles (and some expensive looking boats ) tbh but this one comes under the could be anything banner and ive had a win bet on him at 9/1 in an open looking race .

Taking note of Figgis comments on W Hawkeye I don't see why Hotazhell won't run well in this race. A Group2 winner and I like his attitude as he seems a right hardy little devil. Goes on the ground as well and after having fun with him on the Curragh, today I like his price. We know he will get a good drive from Shane too. Good luck with your bets Foyles and elisj. I will put in Aidan's for the reverse 4cast. Aidan usually wins this with a stout stayer.
