I'd like a consensus view to gauge his chance of winning this event. Mine would be an emphatic no. I'd be delighted if he's placed.

i dont think he will for a number of reasons ,1. the speed he showed as a 2 yo .2 a doubt as to wether he has trained on .3 im no ken pitterson but fracesca commented he looked narrow and smallish before the gns .4 could be the yards 3yos are an average bunch .5 at around 4/1 tops  he represents no value imo...........thats my opinion and the trainer would obviously know way more than me and most about his horses and he could be another auguste rodin and hack up in the derby but he wont be carrying my money.

Or he could be another Tenby which is more likely imo.

i doubt it'll happen but were he to win that would raise some questions for me

I share those negative concerns too. He capitulated like a boxer being hit on the canvas repeatedly on his most recent run; I gather AOB is an extremely talented and proven trainer nevertheless I found his reasons too far-fetched on this occasion.

Auguste Rodin genuinely had an unfortunate run in his 2000G. And, I think with AOB running a battalion connections ain't confident either despite his work at home; the horse needs this race for commercial reasons. Also, I'm not fully convinced  he'll stay the distance/.

The Godolphin pair ie Arabian Crown and Ancient Wisdom have decent form too, and the former is proven he's trained on. But, for whatever reason I cannot seem to remember their names. I think win or lose their names will be history with me post Epsom.

When winning the Dewhurst he looked bigger than the others.
In the 2000 Guineas he looked smaller than other runners.
My conclusion is his 2yo form was due to greater physical maturity and now others have passed him.
If City Of Troy wins it will be hard to believe.
Ordinary explanations will not suffice.

Kincsem, surely you don't believe that all 8 runners that finished ahead of him in the Guineas have all passed him, that they are all now above the level he showed to win the Dewhurst?

I was paddock side at both the Dewhurst and the Guineas and he was certainly not bigger than the opposition in the Dewhurst and nor was he in the Guineas.
