and a decent prize imo.
several months ago i bought a batch of old national hunt prints by an artist called "snaffles" anyway i got them from a carboot sale for peanuts and have sold one to a friend and racing enthusiast for more than what i payed for the lot so they owe me nothing . anyway i put them in a cupboard and thats were they will probably stay till i can be ashed to take them to an auction house or whatever . i have several some framed and some not . the artists real name is charles johnson payne and he worked in the early 1900s till his death in 1967 if you type his name or " snaffles" art in google you should be able to see examples of his work ,anyway as said i have around 15 of these and as far as i can tell and have been told they are not cheap repros but original signed prints with a blindstamp . i have put up a cheltenham festival comp and will dontate one of these prints to the winner no hidden agenda lads its free to enter and i will pay for postage to the uk only if ya are overseas and enter and win youll have to pay the postage im not made of money.
the winner of the comp if any interest and there has been some on the horse racing forum will be the poster who selects the biggest priced winner at this years festival . now depending how results go that could easily be a 10/1 or under .
just put up your selection no reasoning needed and you have till the last race on friday to enter non runners can be substituted .

yeah no problem guys have a look on google they are nice olde world style prints and i have put a list of the prints on the horse racing forum in my cheltenham festival comp.have a look and good luck.

sorry guys 1 selection for the festival ,i wont have time to do 1 a day good luck if entering and you all have your own methods but in theory it could be won with a 10-16/1 shot depending how others fare .

guys dont know if there will be much interest from here but THE CUT OFF TIME FOR THE COMP IS ALL ENTRIES MUST BE IN BEFORE 1.30 TUESDAY THE START OF THE SUPREME ....GOOD LUCK IF ANY TAKE PART !
