Like to wake up and watch a bit of telly in the morning so in addition to watching the cricket I have backed Alenquer at 3-1 to be in the first x10. Decent draw, decent ground,decent jockey and when trained by Haggas entered in several G1 contests so hoping for a bit of excitement first thing.

Was awake prior to the race starting and found the price on Alenquer had collapsed and was able to lay 1.84-1 to recover my stake. Thought the first x10 was possible around the two furlong marker before the selection was swallowed up and allowed to coast home.Easy and worthy winner but little personal excitement sadly.
