if i place e,w bet on the champion chase all firms are offering n.r.n.b first 3. there are only 9 left in so iof I have an e.w. bet now and only 7 run do I still get first 3 places.

Yes. You get the places at the time the bet was struck. If there are only 3 runners you still get 3 places.
