I received an e-mail at 0244 this morning telling me that AP bets on this horse had been voided but my position appears to be unchanged despite me having several such bets. There have been several attempts to fix the issue of the wrong name over the past few days, but voiding after the market has closed seems bizarre. I'll try the (so-called) helpdesk but has anybody any idea what is going on from their position?
Yes, I've laid it in the ante-post market and the bets appear to stand. And so they should. If you had written out "Platinum Queen" in a betting shop, it would have been pretty unambiguous which horse your were backing. I don't see where the idea of voiding came from in the first place.

Looking at it again I think this just means that they have corrected the name, and bets on the incorrect named have now been transferred to the horse named "The Platinum Queen".
