It’s a perhaps fanciful thought but…

Euchen Glen?

He ran well on Saturday, probably would have won by a length or 2. Missed the break, sat a long way last, went down the inside at Goodwood. Ran into a wall of horses, what a shock, and finished very fast.

He has run 119, and 118 last season. Ran of 116 in the Ebor last year.

Now goes for this year’s Ebor bang in form and will run off 102. (How has Goldie managed to get him so well handicapped?)

So we have a popular 9 year old with a chance of winning the Ebor trained up North.

Where have we seen this before?

Oh and when did you last see a horse in a handicap with a stone in hand at 25/1?

The 25/1 Euchen Glen is history with Hills and Betfair 16/1. 20s still with the Magicswine and OKKorals.

Okita Soushi should run well in this if he
comes over.

Jim goldie won the 2nd and 3rd races at Ayr yesterday, he was interviewed, the EBOR was a topic of conversation.
I think given such a compressed handicap, there may be a big run in ever present. JH’s horses have been in great form, it’ll be only the horses 2nd start this year, only other run was better than it looked. The horse mightn’t look well treated but if I reckon if it were targeted here, it’ll be of huge interest, more so than John leaper who seems to be catching peoples attention, not mine!

John leaper only mentioned as it’s in the same colours
