If true that was cowardice and unprofessional from the Gosden outfit. A response esp from Gosden sr was the least Dettori deserved after his tenureship and achievements with the Gosdens.

All he had to do was ring Frankie up and be polite say, "I'm not sure you are the jockey we need, and we are looking to the future"

I agree with you but I think most of his carping was heat of the moment stuff when a mike was stuffed in his face post-race.
That doesn;t excuse it of course. Funny. Years ago when you were dumped you went on gardening leave. Then it changed to having further projects to pursue. Now it seems that you are going on a sabbatical. |
