Looks like the race is falling apart. Trueshan was always unlikely, and now it seems that Scope, who would have probably have been the most interesting runner, is also very unlikely, despite being by a quick ground sire. Anyone else like to drop out?

Kyprios is very short isn't he. I'll be laying.

Tashkhan another one with a much better chance than 33/1 would be suggest, but chances are he isn't going to run either.

Going back to Scope his half brother won the opener (landing a nice gamble) at Sandown today. He didn't seem to have too much trouble with good to firm, and I doubt that Churchill is more of an influence for quick ground than Teofilio.

If these trainers/owners are not prepared to take a chance on what no doubt will be considered safe ground for flat racing, then likely we will end up with a virtual match, between a largely unproven horse, and one on the downgrade. It should be a great opportunity, but it appears everyone is running scared.

They all want perfect conditions for every individual horse.
Not going to happen.

Trueshan is almost a certain absentee unless the heaven opens.

I see they've left Trueshan in.
Are they hoping for an unexpected monsoon?
