Looks very interesting indeed at big prices for the Epsom Oaks.
Golden Lyra is really quite stoutly bred on the dam’s side and closely related to Raise You, a soft ground mile and a half winner trained by Joseph O’Brien.
That Golden Lyra managed to win so well over 7 furlongs, given the stamina in the breeding (dam by Sea The Stars out of a Monsun mare) makes her a potentially top class middle distance prospect. She should surely stay very well but might even take in the 1000 Guineas en route.
