should be a cracking renewal with shishkin heading the market and he might be the next sprinter sacre /altior but he is plenty short enough and despite his potential makes no appeal to me at the price if he proves to be a flying machine then so be it but he is up against the creme de la creme of 2 milers and has to step up on what he has achieved so far same goes for energumene who has looked a weapon but has no festival or course form . chacan pour soi scooted up at punchestown and looked a world beater but was turned over in this in march . at the prices nube negra appeals much improved last term he was arguably unlucky when beaten by put the kettle on in this race in march stumbled slightly after the last and had to be switched running on strongly he just failed to catch the winner who loves cheltenham . available at 25/1 and open to more progress, at the prices he appeals as an each way bet to me. good luck opinions encouraged !

An astute synopsis and selection, and 25/1 is a good bet. The horse has form against Altior, and just held in this year's renewal after stumbling at the last fence.
Shishkin is very short at 7/4 unless he'd walk-away with the Tingle Creek next month. |

agree with irishone here the mare ptko is too big at 14/1 and her and nube negra are my 2 against the field . the mare is for some reason being overlooked in the betting she will keep finding she jumps well loves the course gets the 5 pound and as chacan found out after the last she is very hard to pass up the hill. chacan and a few others were travelling much better 2 out and at the last but the mare battled and found more ,i would have her in a battle up the hill over chacan pour soi again . shishkin has a very" sexy" profile but is priced accordingly and takes a big chunk out the market .
