Heatwave meant to last well into next week so very fast ground looks likely.
Some lightly raced big yard entries dominate the market but searching for some value I like the look of What's The Story at 50/1. Has run in the last three renewals and was 4th in the race three years ago when it was quick ground and has loads of big handicap form at York.
No secrets form the handicapper of course but he ran an eye-catching trial when consistently denied a run at the Dante meeting and with the stable in form (2 winners today) he looks a sporting e/w shout.
Also thought Fame And Acclaim was interesting for Joseph O'Brien who is 25/1 on here but not sure of running plans so will wait for final decs.
The last 7 winners have carried between 9-01 and 9-05.
That seems a very narrow rating band to me,is it telling us something ?
Just the two winners with a single figure draws,although 2 have come from stall 11 in the last 7 runnings.
Usual minefield for everyone looking to punt,3 of interest of the 69 entered;
Lucander
Blue Mist
Bowerman
Wait to see final decs,bragging rights guaranteed for finding this one.
