Bloody Hawk wing ..was there when he won the Eclipse. Don't ever back such short odds but was having a great day and he was such a certainty I ended up having my biggest ever bet and he duly obliged. Moving on to the QEII I was there as well...having a great day, pulled this posh sort, knocking back the Pimms and acting like Charley Bigpotatoes. Now have a taste for this buying money lark after the Eclipse and called up my phone account to put on by some way my biggest ever bet.. never forgotten that sinking feeling as Where or when breezed past

Well to quote my friend after the race.."You look like an Axe murderer who's about to kill somebody"..I wasn't in a great mood and she suddenly became the most annoying person on the planet. It's like when England just get knocked out of the World Cup and you have to listen to some cheery inane comments from your girlfriend who just doesn't get it. I wanted to leave straight away but my friend wanted to stay till the last race as some woman who claimed to be Kieran Fallon's sister had been telling everyone all day in the Pimm's tent that he was on a good thing in the last. I basically waited there in silence for the last race and then had a stupid big bet on it chasing my loss and then watched it get stuffed. I then proceeded to leave the grandstand immediately and headed for the station without getting her number..not sure if I even said goodbye
