Backed Dingo Dollar so far. Ran disappointingly in this last year but hoping he is a more confident jumper with a years more experience. Will back the place when the market is established assuming the aforementioned turns up.
Will look again for other fancies when final field is finalised.
Count Meribel I think he could be well hcpd, dropping down the weights as he's running on soft ground, must have decent ground (which it sometimes is for this) to be considered. trip might be a concern. Trainer in great form. 20/1
Cobra De Mai Another dropping to a decent mark who would prefer decent ground. Might be one for later in the spring but interesting nonetheless. 20/1
My Old Gold C&D winner, a typical Richards staying chase being brought along steadily, could be more to come. 16/1
Didero Vallis I thought he ran really well lto behind TVB and could have been kept back for this.only went up 1lb. It would need to be soft ground I think. 12/1
Ravenhill Road I like this one, could be completly unexposed at this longer trip, seemed to benefit stepping up to 2m5f lto. He's run well before at the course for previous trainer, but I fancy Sue Smith might get the best out of this one over fences, stable among the winners just now. 18/1
Monbeg River He was a good 2nd in this race last year and he is 5lb lower this year. I think the weights will go up, cannot see Top Ville Ben humping top weight around here as a prep for the GC. As such this one mght have a decent wait. He runs well after a break and it was good to see his small stable get a winner the other day. 40/1
Some at the front of the market I'll be taking on; Mister Whitiker (Trip), Lami Serge (Hurdler)and Azzerti (I backed him lto and didn't look to me like he stays).
It does not look a top renewal this year, so I think I'll stick a few pennies ew on Monbeg River at a price, he is 38 in the list so needs a few to come out, 20 Max.
Some that are interesting me atm.Count MeribelI think he could be well hcpd, dropping down the weights as he's running on soft ground, must have decent ground (which it sometimes is for this) to be considered. trip might be a concern. Trainer in grea
Good Man Pat , Monbeg River , Count Meribel and Looksnowtlikebrian make up my short list . Looksnowtlikebrian could be the value e/w . Out of form this last year but he has had a wind up.

Agree with GI Mac , but cant decide whether Cobra De Mai is aimed specifically at this or whether the Ultima is the target , have backed in both but if winning it will only be one . Drying wind from midnight Friday will help .

14 declared. It's been a drying wind all week apparantly, been keeping an eye on the going; It was soft going on Sunday, now its g/s / soft in places, so fair chance of decent ground Saturday, will suit Cobra.

Sadly didn`t back Quarenta at the same time I backed Dingo Dollar but that`s life. Will back him each way(four places) and same place for Dingo Dollar.
