The two main protagonists are Kemboy and Delta Walk - both at 7/4; the latter came up on top when the former was making his reappearance of the season in The Savills Chase; 15 possible.

If these two heavyweights turn up Kemboy I firmly believe Kemboy will wipe the smile off Delta Work (pretty easily), I'd imagine, and head the Gold Cup market post the race; Road To Respect and Presenting Percy (PP) are entered too, but I think PP is heading for a soft hurdle race instead.

I do not believe Delta Work will show either, and has his Gold Cup bubble burst prior.

I wouldn’t really call it a heavyweight clash to see who goes off fav for the GC when an ante post 7/1 runs against 10/1 shot. But I think the winner will be cut a couple of points.
The same will happen to the winner of the Cotswold and potentially Denman Chase.

The market is the best for value I’ve seen in many years.

There's tremendous value at this juncture unless one is already in the ABP camp. The races you mentioned esp Santini will significantly change the market if he wins convincingly as he's proven at Cheltenham; Kemboy will be less so as he's not proven at Cheltenham (yet), but a resounding trashing of Delta Work or win will see him usurp ABP for the Gold Cup at Cheltenham - he's beaten ABP.

The connections of Presenting Percy have decided this is the route for him given the commencement of watering at Leopardstown. If all turn up it'll be the best rehearsal for The Gold Cup at Cheltenham; Santini heads the cast for the Cotswold Chase at Cheltenham this saturday.

The big boys are declared for sunday ie Kemboy (13/8), Delta Work (9/4) and Presenting Percy (9/2). Will a standout performance from one of these 3 protagonists to shake-up the Gold Cup market significantly? Let's hope after last year's inconclusive rehearsal.

Elliot is none too happy with the ground. A final decision to run or not run Delta Work will be made tomorrow.
