It is a superb race as you say , goes under the radar because of the KG , Welsh National and many others.....but how often do we see a field of so many 3 mile steeplechasers in the season.
I will be having a good look when the field is available. |

Yes - it is effectively the Irish equivalent to what was the Hennessey Cognac Gold Cup ( now sponsored by a joke of a bookmaker whose name I will not type).
As usual though these hugely valuable Irish handicaps, and indeed Irish Graded races, never seem to attract any British entries. ![]() |

Tough race as ever, but I think the odds on offer for Vieux Morvan are generous, 22/1 seems a fair ew price. Will surely be primed to run his race again.

I probably need help, but in a race lime that I want a price. The pin landed on General Principle, on the basis that he is on a good mark now, and there are at least plausible reasons for the alphabetti spaghetti next to his name.
