not a lot between these and a lot of ifs buts and maybees concerning most of the field ,how much has the revenant improved?? caqn magna grecia come back to his guineas winning best after a setback? who knows, but there is not much between magna grecia and pheonix of spain and pheonix is 5 times the price  and ran a decent race in france last time ,king of change has to come into it  but was well held in the guineas by magna but  is improving , benbatyl won easily at newmarket but may well be taken on up front ,king of comedy has to be produced just at the right time and needs things to go his way .mohaather is an unknown and on the up and although stepping up in class well worth a try.

I know the Guineas form is pretty dire and he was on the golden highway but Magna Grecia still won easily and looked to have quite a round action. He’s won first time out both seasons so the break is no excuse. And it’s not a strong field.

Also the fact they withdrew Magna Grecia who would have had a near favourites chance imo suggests the boys really fancy him. Think he will go off favourite,

i will probably have a stakes saver on magna grecia horse done me a massive favour in guineas and owes me nothing ,just the price differential between him and pos too big imo luck inrunning probably play a part too.

For me, Benbatl's latest win proves he is much improved as a 5yo. I make it clearly the best mile form this season and I vowed to lump on him next start. However, I wasn't counting on this ground, which, while not being heavy, is certainly soft on the straight. Often the going isn't really accounted for in the price, but I think here it has been over compensated for, as I would have him very short here on decent ground. Obviously if Benbatl doesn't act on it then it's a bet down the drain but I don't think there's enough evidence to say conclusively that he can't perform on it. Backed.

Ta Charlton. Unfortunately for me I think we can now safely say he definitely doesn't act on it Laugh.
