To keep a long story short, I’ve had a few quid each way on I Can Fly at 14’s.

“The lads” have decided not to go to the Prix de la Foret with her on Sunday and would appear the plan is to run in the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday where the ground is currently soft.

I Can Fly has yet to win a Group 1, however AOB usually finds one for his horses before the end of the season and this could be shrewd placement.

It’s worth noting she finished ahead of the current ante post favourite Veracious on soft ground at Royal Ascot in June despite conceding 3lb that day.

Seamie never put her in the race the last day in the Matron Stakes, however he keeps the ride on Saturday and I reckon she might go off considerably shorter than the 14/1 currently available.
