Don't know about the rest of you, but I thought the Judmonte International highlighted one thing to me and that is King of Comedy is a horse of serious potential.

This Monkey made a move over a furlong out that was very eye catching after fighting Frankie for the first 1/4 of the race and being the most unsettled horse in the race.

Crystal Ocean on rating is the best horse in the world, Elarqam has a pedigree that you would make you excited ( Frankel / Attraction ), Japan the best staying 3yo this season (potentially).

There isn't a standout horse in racing on ratings, Ok enable might be overlooked and could well end up in the mid 130's, But King Of Comedy could be the best horse by the end of the year, The champions stakes over 10F and a bit more experience (still relatively unexposed) to help him settle, he could be extra special and looks to have more to come.

like the horse but must be a chance they'll drop him back to 8f for QE II instead...that would be my move

I backed him at York, wasn't really confident but still ended up a bit disappointed in the run, as even though Japan turned out to be better than I thought I don't think it was a great Gp1, with Crystal Ocean below his best. Thought I'd probably overrated him but if I have I still can't see where so I'm keeping the original opinion of him for now. He ran very keen early on at York so that's a possible excuse. It could have been just because he was too fresh after the break but, as duncan says, it could be that he's more suited to a mile. If Gosden perseveres with him over 10f then I'd trust his instinct, as in the past I haven't noticed him waste time continually running horses over too long a trip.

I think the round course at Ascot will suit him much better than the straight track so unless it’s really soft I’d hope they go for the Champion.
