probably talking to myself here but this race could be set up for shock with gosden and aob saying that thiers will come on for the race ! it could leave the door open for a "lurker" and one that could fit the bill is stouts almania lightly raced and needes to find a bundle of improvement but its well bred and with a master with these types ,and the fact he has thrown it into the deep end shows me they hold it in some regard and its a massive price .............i dont mind having 3 on myside at decent prices with the doubts about the front 2 .............saver bet on almania 25/1 on here or better ............good luck an ktcyfa.

Had a punt on Surfman at 8/1 for this and 16s for the derby. Gosden didn't sound too confident about TDH yesterday, citing missing 10 days work and then mentioning the sjp at Ascot as his possible next race. Never been a fan of following British 3yos after running at the breeders cup, Turgenev couldn't win a listed race lto, o Briens record with 3yos at York is appalling, Almania needs huge improvement but possible,Nayef is a lot better than a handicapper and is the ew bet. All of which leaves wide margin lto winners, Telecaster and Surfman.

Agree with that. A lot of Johnston's horses have two ways of running but if that last run can be repeated he's certainly not out of his depth here with anything apart from (potentially) TDH. No chance in a Derby of course but that's a different matter. |

this looks a great opportunity to me for too darn hot...some interesting runners that i'm looking forward to seeing almania, telecaster and line of duty are some nice types, the last named is a very interesting horse and he may give too darn hot most to do if ready but surely this is a very good opportunity for too darn hot and i expect him to win comfy

Had £2 on Telecaster today to support the Bangkok form so delighted with the result as I have Bangkok for the Derby at 32 ante post. Telecaster is from one of the best Meon Valley families.

The Derby dream is well and truly over for TDH. I do have have Telecaster or Bangkok for the main gig - 'laid' a small amount though. Now totalling reliant on Broome and Anthony Van Dyck, and insurance on Sir Dragonet just in case - it's over to you Coolmore.
