cheers charlton ,yeah have been lucky lately lets hope it continues ,good luck yourself ! japan beat mount everest a sh in the beresford so on last seasons form not much between them and me was the better fancied in the betting of the 2 , everest double the price of japan ,no way of knowing how much each has improved . at more than double the price of japan he could be the value .

Bad luck Foyles. This antepost game really can do your head in sometimes.
![]() I'm big on Japan @ 25/1 and have been wondering whether to lay off for a few months but have held tight so far. I'm glad they aren't going to Chester with him - hopefully the Derrinstown instead. |

cheers uncle was due one ! well some consolation is that i must now hold the record for the shortest lived ante post selection ever put up on the forum ,quite proud of that ,it will never be beaten .

AOB: "Japan is entered at Lingfield but I'm thinking that he'll instead run in the Derrinstown Derby Trial at Leopardstown along with Anthony Van Dyck and Broome. Japan had an easy week about three weeks ago along with Anthony Van Dyck and we don't want to go too far with him for his 1st run back, but we do need to get a run into him. I just have to be a bit careful starting Japan back. Whatever he does at Leopardstown he'll come forward a good bit for the run. The Epsom Derby has always been at the front of the picture for Japan."
Japan cannot afford any further setback. If so, unlikely to make the Epsom gig; Mount Everest is already out. |
