Antepost trebles are the very worst bet to put on. I have placed quite a few over the last 37 years with not one coming in.
The rate at which horses drop out and are switched targets makes it a massive losing bet. Got very close once to a six figure payout with 2 winners and a second. Betting to those odds in close range races they dont even need to go for (it isnt the Festival) will be a massive loser in the long term even if that one comes in.
Stick to antepost singles and put on as much as you feel comfortable with when an opportunity com es along is my advice.

Win or lose this is one of the worst bets I’ve ever seen. Each leg is fraught with danger and you are only getting 5/1.
I’d want 5/1 at least BD and MB double antepost.

A big disappointment with Might Bite no doubt nevertheless, one bad race does not make a good horse bad eg Samcro (1st time out too). Maybe not as fit as the rest or something untoward eg dirty scope or injury prevails next week to account for today's poor show.

horrible aftertiming but feel to beat the bookies you need something more original than this
plus the stats are against you. how many runners per race, 7 or 8 on average? I mean for these races mentioned, not horse racing in general. so statistically your chances are something in excess of 100-1 if every horse is equal, obviously that isn't the case here but it's hard to believe that the horses aren't priced up correctly by the bookmakers.
from my experience it's hard enough to pick the winner of one big race let alone three.

you can't beat experience. everyone dreams of having the big ante post wins. but to get them you have to be single minded, then the animals have to get to the races. For all the magnificent ante post touches I have had over the years, ie Istabraq 9/2 downwards to evs 1999 CH, when I singlemindedly put every last penny I had, earned and won on him because of that belief. But when I had Ned Kelly get scratched the weekend before the CH, there were screams of anguish heard from me I can tell you for about six weeks... Keep the faith, but as Lewisham Ranger wisely pointed out, you can't beat value

Just a word of warning to all genuine forumites Woodmanchester has single handedly wrecked the greyhound forum by his habitual introduction of threads such as this in order to seek attention Many good judges left the forum and many totally ignore his posts Overall the strength of opinion , knowledge and fundamentally well educated posts has weakened that forum dramatically
