Mr Kennedy has really caught the eye in the last couple runnings,looks to have sussed his racing line very quickly,makes a huge difference,very rarely mentioned.Deserves a chance on a decent horse,be watching him closely weekend.

Generally off the pace over the three days,despite really looking forward to the meeting.
Superb winner of yesterdays highlight,legendary status guaranteed,rightly so.
Take that comment about the ground back,they obviously worked hard prior to racing friday to repair the surface,there should be no complaints on that note,well done Aintree.
Probably in a minority of one,I find the present coverage underwhelming,I wonder how those once a year viewers find it,do we encourage any new people to the sport,I have my doubts.
Anyone who has been racing regularly,will have been captured by the experience,the sounds,the colours,the beauty and majesty of the horses close up.
What we have at the moment does not capture that for me.......views anyone ?

Cheers noc. Don't think you'd be in the minority on the coverage, different to how the BBC used to do it. I don't think its too bad, but Chapman is becoming a pain, and the guy on the betting ring needs changed. More time focussed on the horses maybe. A few tweeks might sort it.

I try not to get too worked up with the coverage, but some things do need badly looked at, and my own personal gripe will always be the camera angles.
I can’t think of another sport where they deliberately use a camera angle that stops you from seeing what’s happening.
For example, that camera angle at Valentines, wtf are ITV/Production Company doing, what is the point of having a camera showing the horses from the back of the fence, facing away from the landing side. Go back to the 2017 Grand National, and if you’ve got the time, watch the coverage of both ITV and RUK. Now put yourself in the position of someone who’s bet Thunder and Roses, be it a once a year punter, or a regular punter with a lumpy bet on. It might be a trivial matter to some, but it drives me mad.
They wouldn’t cover The FA Cup Final with a camera attached to the corner flag, so why do they only do it to racing fans.
Anyway, rant over, and there are no words to what that win from Tiger meant to me, an absolute legend.

Sorry Mac, not heard a thing, just had a look at the markets, seen Sam Waley Cohen jocked up on Impulsive Star on Saturday, and took a chance. Dangerous approach, could easily put 2+2 together and get 5, out of this, but coming to end of season, and thought what the hell. He was genuinely a strong fancy of mine for Sandown as well.
I loved Azzuri when he won at Killarney last year, and thought he was perfect for Galway Plate (still do), but he's been poor. He drifted alarmingly at Newbury, going from 25's to 50's in a few hours. He then went from 50's to as low as 7's in about 36 hours last week, and he's had a wind op. Again, when I follow these things, the results are mixed to say the least, but I had to have another go, but he could easily be "one of those".
