Total pin sticker stuff but David O’Meara has had a good run with sone of his old handicappers lately (Watchable, Intisaab, Salateen) so after a good run in the Bunbury Cup I’m going for Firmament @ 20/1.

Firmament 16-1 e.w. for me too, can't see a problem with ground or trip.
I am giving Ultimate Avenue another chance . His best form was on good ground in July last year . Speculative but on that run he looks well weighted .
Sadly, everything seems to have turned up for this race and it looks the hardest race in all the world.
backed Flaming Spear @ 11/1 (will win one of these big 7f-1m handicaps), Via Serendipity @ 38 (big field fast run 7f should be right up his street) and Burnt Sugar @ 36 (price is just mental on Bunbury Cup running)
a winner is a winner but Via Serendipity would have been a massive result for me, oh well collect a decent few quid off the race
Burnt Sugar up 3lb for win, 20-1 us punters can be incredibly stupid.
Firmament definitely needs softer and/or further. Travelled really well (matched at 7/2 in running) but no turn of foot.
