think benbatl will win the queen anne, but some of these races look ripe for an upset. the st james palace is a case in question.
the favourite has beaten little so far, and struggled to win last time out at sandown (admittedly wasn't suited by the ground.) the second favourite in that race went off a huge price in the 2000 guineas, and while it will be a "fairytale" story if a horse trained by roger teal won at royal ascot, I can't imagine it will be a value price. looks like a race to take the favourites on. if you want to go for a banker, I think stradivarius will win the gold cup. did very well as a young stayer last year winning at goodwood, and you think with another year on it's back it will be even tougher to beat. |

First day Lucky 15
Rhododendron Sergai Prokofiev Battaash Without Parole GL |

By:
£2 lucky 15 with the old Man, it's tradition :-)
Rhododendron 10/3, Battaash 11/4, Tip Two Win 6/1, Laraaib 15/2. Gutted when I seen the draw for Laraaib:-( (15/16) would have been very sweet on his chances with a lowish draw. Gd luck for the Royal week lads. B Lucky :-) |

Well done Lewis. Stradivarious a favourite of mine but preferred Order Of St George but that seemed unsettled and ran below par
Thought Crossed Baton ran well for a 25/1 poke but Wild Illusion couldn't confirm Oaks form with the well beaten there Magic Wand. Just goes to show you Stylehunter and Downdraft weren't far away |

cheers pal.
in the first tomorrow i've backed the ryan moore filly but also feel the wesley ward filly is overpriced at 10-1, her sire is the sire of the moment apparently. |
|
By:
so have added her as a saver, I should have said. 50 on the moore filly and 30 on the ward filly.

That's it, this year's Royal Ascot is over for me; tomorrow's egg and spoon races, unlikely future pointers.
