West Coast, clear 2nd to Gun Runner over 9f and 10l infront of Gunneverra; he is 11/10 after drawn stall 9. North America is 2nd fav at 6/1 after thrashing Thunder Snow; next best are Talismanic and Forever Unbridled at 8/1.

West Coast is clearly the best horse in the race, but the draw could be an issue hence the drift to odds against (11/10).

Forever Unbridled shouldn’t be that big a price. Maybe gets well beaten but still a good price.
Would’ve thought West Coast romps this though and I know a lot of people holding big ew ante post bets on North America. The derby could be the most useful for some time with Reride giving a line into the US form....put it this way...it’s a better test than what Gronk had to beat yesterday. |
