Charlie Longsdon has 2 in this race - I do like LOOSE CHIPS was 3rd last year... he loves Sandown but seems to bolt from the front only to find one too good.
Last year's winner is more my fancy ... won last time ... similar mark as last year and does well at Sandown.
Think this is a 5 horse race... wouldn't bother backing anything outside this 5...

But risky considering Twiston horses are there but just feel it will come down to these as they're on slightly lower marks than last year.

Theatrical Star here also.....his form at sandown....3,2,2,3.
Bits and bobs on deep ground,he saw most of Esher on his last run,the debrief from his pilot took longer than the actual race,such was the ground he covered. Not won for 4 yrs,few pounds out the handicap,remains to be seen what horse turns up tomorrow. Litle bit of 25 s on here earlier,no doubt the stable form reflects that,but if the Ambrosia man has him in decent nick,thats a little too big. 60 Grand to the winner,great addition to the calendar for some real old favourites. Needless to say,one race where you just hope they all return safely. GL to those playing |

Think jockey went too soon - set it up for the winner... But is a good horse especially at his age! |
