Blaklion ran arguably his second best ever race in the Charlie Hall and the handicapper drops him 2lbs?? I bet Twiston-Davies can't believe his luck going into the Beecher.
I suspect a horse near the bottom of the handicap will win the Beecher however - horses near the top of the handicap rarely win this race.

This is worth revisiting....
Blaklion now looks awful short for a race at 3 miles + over the National fences but I'm struggling to understand why Highland Lodge is still a bigger price than Vieux Lion Rouge.
