Make or break time for Dschingis Secret´s Arc bid.

Last four races

Gr. 3 won by seven length
Gr. 2 won by six length
Gr. 2 5th of 6 at Baden-Baden. In three career starts at the track never closer than 6th length.
Gr.2 won by four length from Iquitos, who easily won a Gr.1 in his next race.

Horse could be a monster of soft/heavy.

Hawkbill is the favourite.

Returning Racing History, Gr. 2 placed Sirius and German Derby favourite Colomano round up a nice line-up.

Just back from Berlin EIT, a weekend away with a trip to Hoppegarten on the Sunday.
Lovely track, a great place to watch racing and very reasonably priced.
Although DS did it cozily in the end, Hawkbill did himself no favours at all. He was agitated even in the pre-parade and by the time he got to post, which is right in front of the packed stands for the 12f start, he was absolutely wringing (it was a warm day). His race was run before the straight, so it was a decent performance to get as close as he did.
DS will need to be a lot better than that to win an Arc - he's a big old unit in the flesh mind you, dwarfed the 3yo's, only Hawkbill was anywhere near the same size, so I suppose he can be marked up for winning on a pretty tight track.

Was good ground here and he also pulled hard in the race, and still did it nicely. He can´t beat Enable, especially at the weights, but in a truly run race on very soft/heavy he can run a place imho. Especially after the way Almanzor and the French Derby form just bombed.

You all welcome, if you jumped on the 600.0 for the Arc in August.

My exposure to this horse is worse than the buffeting the Caribbean Islands are experiencing from hurricane Irma at present.
